1.Yarn count of knitted fabric   

Pure cotton yarn is a single yarn or strand spun from cotton with certain fineness and unlimited length. It is suitable for shuttle weaving, knitting, thread making, rope making, etc. The specification is usually expressed in English count. The English count of cotton yarn (NE) is defined as the length yards of cotton yarn with a public weight of one pound. The calculation of English count of cotton yarn: when the moisture regain is public, there are several 840 yards of cotton yarn with a public weight of one pound, which is called several British counts. For example, if there are 32 840 yards, it is called 32 British counts, and so on.

2.Yarn classification   

Coarse count yarn:Pure cotton yarn of 18 British count or less is mainly used for weaving thick fabrics or pile and loop cotton fabrics.   

Middle count yarn:19-29 inch pure cotton yarn。It is mainly used for knitted garments with general requirements。 Fine count yarn:30-60 inch pure cotton yarn。It is mainly used for high-grade knitted cotton fabrics。Fine count yarn:More than 60 British count pure cotton yarn,Used for high-grade knitted cotton fabrics。

3.General combing and combing   

Carding yarn:It refers to the yarn spun by ordinary carding spinning process,Also known as uncombed yarn。    

Combed yarn:It refers to using high-quality cotton fiber as raw material,A yarn produced by adding a combing process to a carded yarn during spinning。  

4.Gram weight of knitted fabrics    

Generally, it is the gram of fabric weight per square meter。Gram weight is an important technical index of knitted fabrics。 In knitted products,Generally speaking,Gram weight is heavier,The thicker the fabric texture。
